I will be giving a prize for each category. Example: if the first category is “Red” and three people took a photo, I will choose the best photo out of the three and send that person a prize. The prizes will be small RAKS.

I will also be sending out small RAKS to anyone who takes a photo of ALL 15 categories.

So much is happening at Roll 2 Create (http://roll2create.net/) in the next few months

July sees some new monthly challenges and changes to a few old ones in the forum. The Book of Me challenge will now take place over the next 12 months with a FREE album at the end just for completing all the LOs. Have trouble journalling? Well join in our journalling challenge. Interested in Hybrid? Join Anne each month as she challenges you to use your computer to create some unique pages (her July layout is gorgeous!). This is only a small snippet of the challenges we have to offer, you'l have to come on over to find out more ;)

Our blog will be featuring a new Australian Celebrity Scrapper each month. Some may be well known, others not so much but are personal favourites of our team. The first Celebrity Scrapper will be up soon.

July also sees a major change in our store - we're going Australian Only. The majority of our store will now be Australian manufacturers - think Kaiser, Urban Lily, Buzz & Bloom and many more! Come on over and check out the goodies, there might even be a special or two ;)

Heyy everyone, as you can see I have changed my blog around! does everyone like it better the new way

Also, sorry i havnt had much updating happening this month, I have been busy with school and work. Hopefully i will find time this weekend to get some scrapping done and will show you next week.. hopefully!

Major Art Project!!!!! Ideas?

Hello everyone, for visual arts in year 12 we have to create a major project. I have already had an idea, but i still need a little help.

Have you ever heard of Project 365? If not it bascially is just that you take a photo a day for a whole year.

But i want to take it further and what i want to do is take a photo every day for a year, but i am going to start on my 16th birthday. I am thinking that i am going to use the photos and create an small album which has everyday in it

do ATC's. do one everyday for a year, something like that. Maybe include a photo everyday im not completely sure yet.

This is why i want you opinions, do you like the idea i have? or have you got any suggestions?

Hope you can help me out, i will be very thankful!!

Botanic Garden

PHOTOGRAPHY EXCURSION! Went to the botanic gardens, took about 130 photos. We had to use SLR cameras to take black and white landscape photos. And we also had to use our digital cameras to take coloured close-ups.

Sorry i havnt posted in a few days, i havn't done any layouts at all!! :( so sad. I have been busy with school stuff and everything else. BUT

tomorrow i have a school excursion to the botanic gardens. It is for photography, and we have to take photos!!

I gave my mum breakfast in bed and bought her presents which i also gave to her while she was in bed =) but i had to work today so we didnt go anywhere.

At school in visual arts I had to create 4 artworks that related to Brett Whiteley. We were allowed to use his artworks or create our own artworks that related to his "journey" (his life). But we also had to use certain materials throughout the artworks: here is the list:

- Acrylic paint

- Plaster Bandage

- Charcoal

- Corrugated cardboard

- Hessian

- Shellac

- Oil Pastel/Crayon

On friday night i went to Bents basin for the night. I went with my youth group as a surprise thing. We slept in tents and we had a campfire too.

Today i was just searching on google and i was searching my own name. Now who doesnt do that? well i did it today and i found my blog and stuff like that.. but i also found this t-shirt that is for sale:

Then i kept seaching stuff.. and i found out that it is the 40th anniversary of the book "The Hungry Caterpillar" !!!!

I don't know anyone who hasn't read that book as a child.

This arvo after school i felt like taking our my camera and snapping a few photos.

Months ago now i took some photos of my little cousins when they were visiting.

The first six photos were with my old camera (which had very little megapixels).. so i rekon they turned out pretty good for a crumby camera lol

The next three photos were taken with my new camera.. but i still waiting for my editing program..

Textiles and Design

At school i do textiles and design. For class we have to have an inspiration book that we put pictures of textiles in. Majority of the class just baught a book and stuck pictures in it, but i decided to cover mine and make it look nice.
